Project Scope
The İş Bankası Museum of Painting and Sculpture was brought to life by repurposing the historic Bodvi Apartment building located on İstiklal Avenue in Beyoğlu, Istanbul. Hosting the Türkiye İş Bankası Painting and Sculpture Collection, the project stands out as a cultural building that preserves the historical layers of the structure while meeting contemporary museology requirements.
As IZOTİM, we carried out exterior facade work on this project that enhances the historic character of the facade and harmonizes with the building’s unique architectural identity. Through our attention to restoration details, meticulous execution, and ability to develop detailed solutions, we made a lasting contribution to the museum’s strong connection with the city’s collective memory.
